OLAS Evolution over time

OLAS is a particularly complete and scalable system for the detection and identification ofman at sea.
In reality OLAS has not only been used for humans, but often for the detection of pets (especially those who love to dive!) or objects, for example many have secured the bracelet onEPIRB, portable VHF or valuables.

The scalability allows to use the OLAS system in a simple and economic way (but still well functional) or to make it a complex and adaptable system up to the biggest boats:

Simplified and economic use

With OLAS we can just buy bracelets (OLAS Tags) or torches(OLAS Float-On) and manage everything through the app. In this case our only cost will be the bracelets or torches.

When we don't trust our smartphones

We are all really in a particular intimacy with our smartphones, to the point of trusting them blindly, but when we talk about safety and the marine environment, we must remember that the smartphone can be downloaded and is often not water resistant.
For this reason we suggest to implement the system with OLAS CORE, in this way we will always be well advised of the possibility ofman at sea even when our smartphones are unloaded.

Big boats

At the debut of OLAS, large boats represented a limit for Exposure technology. Today with OLAS EXTENDER the system can be installed on boats up to 80 feet. So let's talk about boats with a certain crew, where it is advisable that everyone wear bracelets (OLAS Tags) or torches(OLAS Float-On).

... but the scalability of OLAS is not only reflected in the potential of the system, but above all in the costs.
In fact, for example, by purchasing just one 72,00 Euro bracelet, we already have a good part of this system at our disposal, so we can well experience it and then we will complete our OLAS system only when we are convinced of its potential.
