GME discontinues the production of models without GPS, i.e. the MT403 series, and in some way panders to a market that was gradually shifting the choice to models with GPS.
We remind you that an EPIRB without GPS is able to locate the shipwrecked person with a margin of error of 5Km, which in many situations makes its tracing difficult. For this reason GME has always suggested to rely on the localization of models with GPS, able to reduce this error under 100 meters. Today GME, by discontinuing the production of EPIRBs without GPS, launches an even stronger signal on this issue.
MT603 series at MT403 series prices!
Today we are very pleased to announce the price decrease of the MT603 series, i.e. the series with GPS. Basically, the price of MT603G is now exactly at the price of MT403 and MT603FG at the price of MT403FF.
The Buy Back 2020 campaign, which we are launching on this very day, also follows the same adjustment.
