MT403FF GME: EPIRB with automatic activation

MT403FF GME

GME MT403FF automatic epirb with shock-resistant and UV-stabilised housing, Transmission at 406 Mhz and 121 Mhz.

Description

The GME EPIRB MT403FF is an automatic type EPIRB (category 1) which is housed in an automatic release housing. In practice, when the EPIRB is submerged in water, a hydrostatic hook triggers a mechanism that opens the door and jumps the EPIRB to the surface. This mechanism, common to many EPIRBs, has been particularly taken care of by GME in the most meticulous details, precisely to ensure its proper functioning.

The MT403FF benefits from all the technologies that GME has developed in the field of EPIRB production and that have always distinguished the entire range. For example, the "Zero warm-up" allows the instantaneous heating of the electronic circuits to allow the transmitter to enter the operating mode promptly, saving precious seconds.

The test procedure is particularly easy to carry out and allows us to ensure in a few seconds that the EPIRB is fully functional, without necessarily having to involve a technician.

Series

In 2004, GME was the first to introduce digital control into EPIRB technology, resulting in greater reliability, autonomy and performance. Today, the most attentive competitors have also achieved this technology, but GME now has an 8-year track record through which the technology has been carefully refined.

AUSTRALIAN MARINE ELECTRONICS EXCELLENCE

Australia is the largest user base for this technology, as EPIRB is mandatory for even the smallest vessels. GME, besides being the undisputed leader in EPIRB sales, has been able to experiment its technology in its territory for a long time, where the greatest rigour and standard for the safety of man's life at sea is imposed.
