MT403 GME: EPIRB with manual activation

MT403 GME

EPIRB GME MT403 with manual or immersion activation through the sea switch. Warranty and battery life 6 years.

Description

The GME EPIRB MT403, although representing the entry level of the range, has all the characteristics that have always distinguished the production of these GME rescue transmitters. In fact, the quality of the signal transmitted, the guarantees of operation and the practicality of use in times of emergency, are distinctive features of the EPIRB GME

Activation is manual and can only take place when the EPIRB is released from its holder. At this point, if the EPIRB is in water, it will be automatically activated by means of the water switches, otherwise it will be necessary to proceed with the manual activation following the procedure indicated on the instructions.

The MT403 is equipped with "Zero warm-up" technology, which consists of instantaneous heating of the electronic circuits, which allows the EPIRB to enter promptly into operating mode, saving precious seconds.

Series

In 2004, GME was the first to introduce digital control into EPIRB technology, resulting in greater reliability, autonomy and performance. Today, the most attentive competitors have also achieved this technology, but GME now has an 8-year track record through which the technology has been carefully refined.

AUSTRALIAN MARINE ELECTRONICS EXCELLENCE

Australia is the largest user base for this technology, as EPIRB is mandatory for even the smallest vessels. GME, besides being the undisputed leader in EPIRB sales, has been able to experiment its technology in its territory for a long time, where the greatest rigour and standard for the safety of man's life at sea is imposed.
