EPIRB GME MT603FG automatic with GPS and MEOSAR ready

MT603FG GME

The MT603FG is GME's new top-of-the-range EPIRB. Automatic type with GPS 66 channels and can operate with the constellation of MEOSAR satellites.

Description

The MT603FG is GME's new top of the range EPIRB, with automatic activation (category 1), 66 channel GPS and readiness to operate with the satellites of the new MEOSAR constellation.

The MT603FG is housed in a housing with a door that opens automatically when the hydrostatic hook senses the water pressure. At that moment the EPIRB is thrown out of the enclosure and once back on the surface activates the transmission of the emergency signal. This mechanism is the result of decades of study by GME to ensure its perfect functioning even in difficult conditions.

The use of the new MEOSAR satellite constellation ensures that the COSPAS-SARSAT rescue coordination is able to detect the position of the shipwreck with precision, even if it has not been able to detect the GPS coordinates from the distress message sent by the EPIRB.

The high intensity strobe, the "zero warm-up" technology and the simple test procedure complete the set of prerogatives of this EPIRB at the top for its guarantees of operation and ease of use in emergencies.
