GME MT603FG automatic EPIRB with GPS and MEOSAR ready

MT603FG GME

The MT603FG is GME's new top-of-the-line EPIRB. Automatic type with GPS 66 channels and can operate with MEOSAR satellite constellation.

Description

TheMT603FG is GME 's new top-of-the-line EPIRB with automatic activation (category 1), 66-channel GPS, and the readiness to operate with satellites from the new MEOSAR constellation.

TheMT603FG is housed in an enclosure with a door that opens automatically when the hydrostatic hook senses water pressure. At that moment theEPIRB is jolted out of the casing and once it rises to the surface it activates the emergency signal transmission. This mechanism is the result of decades of study by GME to ensure its perfect operation even in conditions that are not particularly smooth.

The use of the new MEOSAR satellite constellation ensures that COSPAS-SARSAT rescue coordination is able to detect the location of the castaway accurately, even if it has been unable to detect GPS coordinates from the distress message sent by theEPIRB.

High-intensity strobe, zero warm-up technology, simple testing procedure, and ease of use in times of emergency complete the set of prerogatives of this top EPIRB for its operational guarantees.
