Unfortunately, the homologation times for the new EPIRBs and GMEs are unpredictable, with the new MT603 series it is still fighting with procedures that are mainly bureaucratic in appearance.
As GME is still unable to give a definite date for the commercial launch of the MT603 series, the timeless MT403 series is confirmed for 2018.
However, in the MT403 series, models with GPS were stopped in production due to the lack of a component. Today GME is restoring the missing component, to offer again the availability on MT403G and MT403FG models, i.e. the models with GPS.
We remind you that the models without GPS (MT403 and MT403FF) have been free from the problems of availability.
GME apologizes for the lack of availability of EPIRBs with GPS, but some events were really unpredictable. In any case, we look forward to next spring where we will finally return to market these models.
