The MO520 is built to military specifications for ruggedness, waterproofing and durability. It is also automatically activated by a sensor that triggers on contact with water and allows 48 hours of operational autonomy, where the MO520 will continue to continuously transmit the position on the AIS signal and emit light via high-intensity LED.
The MO520 is waterproof to a depth of 50 meters, small in size and weighs only 160 grams, so it can be secured to the life jacket without creating mobility problems for the wearer.
