AIS MOB GME MO520, built with military specifications, is automatically activated on contact with water and generates the alarm on the AIS system.

Description

The MO520 is an AIS MOB that activates the alarm in case of man overboard, by means of a sensor that triggers on contact with water. At that point, the MO520 sends the alarm to the AIS system so that the SAR forces and all nearby vessels can detect it with the accuracy of the built-in GPS.

In case the event happens during night time, tracking should be even easier, thanks to the provision of high intensity LEDs.

The MO520 is built to military specifications for ruggedness, water resistance and durability. It is waterproof to a depth of 50 meters, small in size and weighs only 160 grams, so it can be secured to the life jacket without creating mobility problems for the wearer.
