WeatherFlow Wind Meter is a smartphone anemometer carefully designed to measure wind with high accuracy.

Description

The WeatherFlow Wind Meter is a smartphone anemometer that connects to the audio socket and via the free App becomes operational immediately.

The Wind Meter has been carefully designed to be the best portable anemometer and has been carefully calibrated at the University of Florida in the Department of Aerospace Engineering.

It is also accurate when not directly oriented to the wind and detects with a maximum error of 0.1 m/s up to 15 degrees off-axis. Start measuring with minimal wind dribble and support winds up to 200 km/h.

The WeatherFlow Wind Meter is compatible with iPhone, iPad, iPod and most Android smartphones. The free App can be downloaded in seconds and is particularly easy to use. The App allows you to view wind direction and intensity (average and gust) in m/s, knots, Kmh, MPH and Beaufort. Surveys can then be shared via WeatherFlow, Instagram, Vine, Twitter, SMS, email and Facebook.

It's sturdy, almost entirely rubberized and the 3.5 mm audio plug is flexible to cushion any blows to the socket of the Smartphone.

The Wind Meter is only 82 mm long, 40 mm wide and 18 mm thick. It comes in an environmentally friendly package and is reusable as a case with dimensions of 95 x 47 x 23 mm.
