Boss Marine MR1560DI with iPod Dock Station, holds the iPod inside and functions are controlled on the front panel.

Description

The new MR1560DI is actually a solid state marine stereo, i.e. without any sensitive mechanical parts.
It's been some years since the audio market started to abandon the old DVD in favor of digital media such as iPod, SD Card or any USB drive (such as the classic stick), Boss Marine has therefore exploited the advantages of this evolution by designing a marine stereo without mechanical parts.

In fact Boss Marine even though it has the best technologies of marinizing, believes that the mechanical parts are still the most critical for the duration of a marine stereo, especially if it remains installed fixed even in winter.

The iPod is placed inside by removing the removable front panel, where there is also the housing of the SD card, thus allowing protection of the iPod itself. While, the USB and audio inputs are in the front.

The keypad is touch sensitive and there are no channels where water could penetrate inside.
The sound quality is that to which Boss Marine has always accustomed us and the power is 80 W (peak) for 4 channels.
Wireless remote control is included.
