StopGull S27: Deterrent for Seagulls

Description

The S27 swivel unit consists of a coloured polymer that does not have the ability to inflict any damage on birds, and is subjected to a treatment against the effects of UV rays and the marine environment.

Thanks to its great versatility, it can be safely and effectively positioned on any part of the boat. It has no metallic component, does not cause any interference with electronic devices and is suitable for all surfaces.

Properly installed, it prevents seagulls and coastal birds from accessing places such as spreaders, mastheads, radar bridges, radar antennas, radio antennas, port facilities, street lamps, jetties or buoys.

Available in white and dark blue, it is supplied in a kit consisting of 12 units separately packaged, so that the dealer can at its discretion sell them separately.

It captures the attention of do-it-yourself enthusiasts and retailers or installers who want to offer an extra service.
The unit is fixed to the surface by means of a very powerful double-sided adhesive plate supplied; for porous surfaces an epoxy or silicone-based adhesive of those normally available on the market can be used.

It Works

StopGull products use a swivel unit, with unsharp ends that simply discourage seagulls, cormorants or other palmipeds from resting on top. On the contrary, the design of the unit is so perfect that the seagull detects it, even from afar, as an element contrary to its nature and therefore to be kept away.

The seagull, because of its biological essence, before establishing a dwelling, is present in a control area that coincides with the highest parts of the boat or port facilities. Then, if it is not disturbed, it also attends the lower zones.

StopGull simply interrupts its input protocol, thus preventing the establishment of a control area and its subsequent acclimatisation with the boat, thus preventing the boat or jetties from becoming its toilet.
