StopGull® is the product line for keeping seagulls and other palmiped birds away from boats, port facilities and buildings.
Description
Abril is also a company in Barcelona specializing in the production of systems to keep the boat away from gulls and other birds palmipeds, these products are marketed under the brand StopGull ®.
Seagulls who spend most of the day in coastal areas and ports, look for the best places on our boats to establish their control area. This control area, due to their biological behaviour, coincides with the highest point where they can settle. For this reason, when they are near harbours or mooring areas, seagulls, cormorants and coastal birds look for the highest points of the boats for the first landing. StopGull® through the S27 swivel unit interrupts their entry protocol, preventing palmipeds, such as seagulls and cormorants, from accessing the higher parts of the vessels and subsequently other areas of the vessel.
Thanks to these systems, boat owners will be able to reduce thousands of litres of water to wash their boats and no environmentally aggressive detergents will be spilled.
Studies conducted by the Spanish company show that StopGull® saves up to 25,000 litres of water per year.
