Autonautic CMI: for the processing of deviation tables

CMI Autonautic
Discontinued

The CMI Autonautic compass electronically acquires information from the compass and processes the deviation tables in real time.

Description

The new ISO 25862 standard will amend EC Directive 96/98 by requiring greater precision in the deviation tables and stipulating that corrections can only be made by a qualified expert or by the master of the ship, every two years.
The CMI compass has been designed to comply in the best way with this standard, in fact it electronically acquires information from the compass and processes the deviation tables in real time.

The CMI compass also sends the true course, derived from the magnetic compass, to the autopilot.
To operate, the on-board compass must be connected to a TMC sensor to transmit its position via NMEA 0183 or 2000 to the CMI. In addition, the HCM must be interfaced with a gyro or satellite compass or GPS.
All settings are made on the touch screen display through a very accurate and intuitive graphic interface.

The installation is panel, but optionally you can buy separately the bracket.
