On February 5, 2018, with the collaboration of Sergio Davì, Marine Pan Service had the great pleasure of organizing a conference on marine devices for the safety of navigation, welcomed by the illustrious Nautical Technical Institute of Palermo.

The conference was attended by a total of 130 people, including students and professors. We discussed VHF, EPIRB, PLB, AIS and GPS technologies, and also commented on the interaction of these devices with the critical aspects of safety. The contents were intended to highlight the technological and bureaucratic aspects of each technology dealt with, as well as highlight the organizations involved in the coordination of relief.

We were surprised by the attention that was given to our content. The pupils were all very attentive and constantly took notes, and did not hesitate to ask for further clarification. The professors were also extremely cooperative and flattered us in requesting the sharing of the contents of our presentation.

We are very grateful to have received so much attention. We are a commercial company, but always strongly motivated to know better the technologies in which our products coexist. When we have the opportunity to express our knowledge, we are flattered and the Palermo Boat Show has given us this excellent opportunity. We're very grateful.

We also believe that our content is really useful for the pupils of a school so strongly oriented towards the marine sector. Therefore, from our small perspective, we believe that the praise goes above all to the professors, who with a momentum, even a little original, have opened the Institute to this initiative.

We would like to be able to repeat this experience also towards other Nautical Institutes in Italy, but we still remain a commercial company where sometimes it is difficult to find the resources for this type of initiative. In any case, we remain available and will do everything possible to fulfill any similar requests.
