RTF Certificate

The RTF Certificate, i.e. the certificate limited by a radio operator, is necessary to operate with the VHF, but only for emergency calls.

The RTF Certificate, commonly called "patent" is obtained by simple application to the Regional Inspectorate of the Ministry of Economic Development - Communications. In order to be able to operate with marine VHF, the vessel must also have an RTF License.

The application must be accompanied by two photos, receipt of payment of € 0.52 on account no. 11026010, 1 stamp of 16.00 Euro and a photocopy of a valid identity document.

The RTF Certificate authorizes the person to operate with the marine VHF (both fixed and portable), for vessels up to 150 GRT and on VHF stations with power not exceeding 60 W.

The RTF Certificate does not authorise the use of DSC functions, where a higher certificate is required: SRC or LRC or ROC or GOC.
