Description

The SCOUT KS-30 antenna has been specially designed to allow perfect reception of AIS frequencies.

Although AIS channels are within the marine VHF frequency, AIS channels cover a narrower frequency range (from 161.975 MHz to 162.025 MHz) and therefore AIS transceivers need a more selectively calibrated antenna on these frequencies to operate at their best. The KS-30 has been carefully calibrated to meet this need.
